Heavy D and The Boyz - Living Large (1987)
This debut album from Pete Rock's cousin turned the eyes of hip hop public on him. Although it wasn't a commercial success, it opened the door for the further career for Heavster. Due to family ties with Pete, the album was produced by Marley Marl, Teddy Riley, DJ Eddie F and Al B Sure. Ladies love Hev for the love songs for da ladies, fellas likes him for having a sense of humour... The Source put the album on the list of Best 100 Albums and almost half of the verses from the album can be easily find quoted on different albums... Probably classic.
